Martine, I can claim a small amount of credit for Villa's last relegation.We made sure of it not through that final result but because my friends and I had a falling out with the club. We had bought tickets for the game at Villa Park. The tickets arrived in the post, then we got another letter saying they had been rescinded as they had found out we were United fans. We were very cross indeed, especially as one of us had had to travel from Paris for the game and had incurred travel costs.So we argued with the club, I even spoke to the then CEO, and pointed out we had been coming to see United play Villa at Villa Park for years (true) and had never caused any trouble (one of us was a judge!).
