Trump says ‘crazy’ Netanyahu has made everyone hate Israel in furious phone call

In the Independent (and many others) "Donald Trump lashed out at Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an expletive-laden phone call over Israel’s continued strikes in Lebanon on Monday, according to US media reports.The US president was reportedly furious after Iran threatened to suspend peace talks with the US over Israel’s strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon, telling the Israeli prime minister that “everybody hates Israel” because of his actions."But of course:-"In his public remarks after the two leaders spoke, Trump announced that a partial truce had been agreed between Israel and Hezbollah and that the call had been “very productive”."And yet:-"But behind closed doors Trump is said to have yelled at Netanyahu over the phone, calling him “f****** crazy”, Axios reported late on Monday, citing two unnamed US officials familiar with the call.“You’re f****** crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your a**. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this,” Trump said, according to a US official’s summary of the remarks.Another source who briefed Axios about the call said Trump was “p***ed” and at one point yelled at Netanyahu: “What the f*** are you doing?”Trump’s intervention came after Israel expanded its ground operations in southern Lebanon. Brigo'I'm sure Hawkes and Rose will be along shortly to declare Donald Trump an anti-Semite?'Trump is not an antisemite.He will fall out with and attack anyone who does not fall in line with his world view and objectives of the moment.Currently he is trying to neuter Iran and its nuclear capacity.I am sure you think, for reasons of geo-political equity that this is reprehensible.It would seem that Netanyahu does not put this at the top of his to do list for he knows Israel could take them out in moments were they to get too uppity.He is more concerned with the Iran sponsored and supported terrorist irritants that are threatening Israel's northern border and dealing with them as he did Hamas in the south.To people like you of course this is appalling.
