Out of one hundred and six pictures in all, only eight, were salvaged. The captions under the heat-blurred pictures read that Capa’s hands were badly shaking”.

Front page letting us know how much all their staff are earning. Is that the more fines they dish out their wages go up. Also the hospitals are not being looked after properly, have read about Charring Cross Hospital now they reckon hospital won't be sorted till 2030. All the top bods earning too much money and letting the hospitals deteriorate, because they can. Should we be grateful for all the years most of us have paid NI. I say get them sorted and stop paying to the people who sit on their backsides doing nothing.

Mail Online Money Section: ”I was switched from SSE to OVO and now my energy bills are mind-boggling ….can you help me work out what I actually owe” The reporter, Helen Crane, has tried to help the pensioner who contacted her, but has found the bills confusing and that the figures don’t add up. Richmond Park: cyclist who was left unconscious following a head-on collision

The incident happened on Monday.It is being described as a possible hit and run with speed possibly being a factor.Luckily the injured party seems to be making a full recovery but it possibly could have been fatal.Let's hope it was confusion and no other reason why the other party left the scene without giving details.

There was no novel deadly virus spreading from Wuhan or anywhere else. There may have been a coronavirus already in circulation, which was unremarkable and similar to what we’ve seen before, and to which nearly everyone had sufficient immunity to protect them from severe disease. The health of the uninjected is basically unaffected, other than from the effects of shutting down society, terrorizing the population, and dismantling healthcare. Most people don’t know anything about the above as anyone pointing it out has been marginalized and vilified as a result of deliberate government communication strategies, which have included maintaining a iron grip over all media.

Passing Asda about 12 pm today, loads of police cars trying to get past all the traffic, when we reached near Robin Hood Gate, the police had hold of a young man on the left hand side of the road.  A bit further along we could see 2 cars blocking the A3 coming from Tolworth. Looked like the young man might have stolen the car and smashed into another one and he tried to run off. Bet there was a wait for all the cars stuck behind the 2 cars.

Hoax Calls

Just had another hoax call saying they have taken my money, when it says press one to talk to their call handler, I don't do anything, I don't put the phone down, I just hold onto it, after about 5 mins a loud alarm goes off really loud. So I still held on and never put the phone down for about 10 mins. Then I dialled 1572 to black list the number.  This is the second time I have done this just held on. It should stop them making other calls.

E-cab shortfall

I don't often use black cabs, but have just used three in rapid succession. All were the new very comfortable hybrid version. I asked drivers about running on electric. All three said (a) it only runs for 50 miles maximum, and (b) they were  using petrol most of the times. There seems to be a consensus that the environmental hopes re e-powered vehicles are not being fulfilled. Instead, cabbies are still pumping gasoline fumes into the air we breathe. Does the London Mayor realise this - or care? Anyone have comparable experience?

Update on energy companies SSE and OVO.

ILLEGAL TRANSFER FROM ENERGY PROVIDER SSE TO OVO.A response given on Trustpilot on 26-1-23  by energy provider SSE regarding my illegal transfer from energy company SSE to energy company OVO which are part of the same company."Hi, Thank you for your recent email, I apologise for the delay in my response.We appreciate you contacting us. When I check your account, it has already been transferred to OVO Energy. As a result, your account has been closed and we no longer have access to it. I suggest you to get in touch with OVO Energy because they are the team that can assist you.Thank you for contacting SSE."John from OVO has informed me that I was tricked by SSE to sign up to OVO with a false promise of a £50 energy credit.And the response given on Trustpilot by OVO. Thanks for getting back to me, Neil.I've checked over your account and I can see you've managed to reach the team. I am sorry that the letter has caused such confusion, but the install would have had to have been with SSE.Thanks,Dave.Both SSE and OVO are continuing to argue that the other party are to blame for the illegal transfer. I have to wait about 7 weeks for SSE and OVO to sort the mess out before the Energy Ombudsman will intervene. Anyone wishing to change energy providers would be wise to check on Trustpilot the company they are thinking of using before deciding. SSE and OVO are having shocking reviews. Sainsbury's

Werter Rd, went in there yesterday and today, nobody on the tills at all. Had to go to were they sell cigs.  Also walked out of Lidl a couple of weeks ago because nobody on the tills, I left the bit of shopping at the till and walked out, there was even a queue for self service.
